Meet the instructors

Misty Hatcher

Dance has been special to me for as long as I can remember! I began dancing as a child and discovered a true love and passion for it. I danced and competed throughout my childhood, joined the drill team in high school, and then cheered for several years in high school and college.

After having two daughters who also have a love and passion for dance, I decided to volunteer at a local studio, where I taught a variety of dance classes, choreographed dances, and helped coordinate recitals and productions.

Teaching dance is truly joyful to me! My hope is to share my love and passion for dance, to inspire and encourage students in their dance journeys, and to bring glory to God through joyful dancing.

I started dancing when I was 3 years old and have loved it ever since! From performing to choregraphing, from recitals to competitions, from being a student to being a teacher-dance has never not been a part of my life. The experiences I have had, shape the way I am able to teach new and experienced dancers of all ages.

The joy of dance for me truly comes from learning something new and practicing it over and over again. Being able to share this love of dance with students is a gift that I am so happy to continue doing for as long as I can! Dance is a gift from the Lord that anyone is capable of learning and executing.

Teaching students to learn new things, to see them light up when they understand what they can do, and to see them perform in front of an audience always brings me joy.
